Meet Dr. Sperling
Dr. Keren Sperling is an American Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon, who is practicing in Vienna VA, a part of the DC Metro area.
She earned her Specialty training from NYU (New York University), where she was trained and personally mentored by prestigious Periodontists who are well known and followed by other dentists world wide.
Dr. Sperling is a graduate of Tel-Aviv University Dental School in Israel. She received her DMD degree there and practiced as a General Dentist In Israel for several years.
While practicing as a General Dentist - Her love of science, Periodontology and research lead her into achieving also a Clinical Masters Degree (MSc) in Perio-Pathology from Tel-Aviv University, which she graduated with top Honors.
Dr. Sperling’s professional and life motto is: “Knowledge is power and Education is the premise of progress”; as such she is highly involved in Continuing Education and frequently lectures about Periodontics, Oral Health and Dental Implants to her dental colleagues, Dental Hygienists and also to the general public.
Dr. Sperling Educational background includes: serving as a part-time faculty at the Department of Periodontics at VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), where she taught at the undergrad and post grad level; Being a Leader of a Local Spear Study Club, a prestigious national educational study club for dentists; Also She established a local Hygienist Study club, which meets on a monthly basis.
Dr. Sperling is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental association as well as The Northern Virginia Dental Society.
She resides in Vienna, VA with her husband, her three beautiful girls and their 2 adopted cats. She enjoys family time and loves spending time outdoors as well as being engaged in running and HITT training. Beach is her happy place and traveling the world brings her peace and joy.

Meet Dr. Yu
Dr. Shan-Huey (Erin) Yu is a licensed, Board Certified Periodontist in Virginia. Dr. Yu completed her residency training and Master of Science in Periodontics at the University of Michigan and she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology
She received her DDS degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan and then she continued a 2-year general dentistry residency before her advanced specialty training in periodontics.
Dr. Yu has clinical, research and teaching experiences in dentistry and periodontics and she has contributed to more than 10 peer reviewed publications in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Yu has been honored with numerous awards including the Richard J. Lazzara Award Fellowship and the Nevins BioHorizons Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
She worked as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Yu enjoys playing tennis and watching movies with her husband.
